Installing grub on RAID1
# /etc/fstab /dev/md0 /boot ext2 noatime 1 2
cat /proc/mdstat
Personalities : [raid1] [raid6] [raid5] [raid4]
md0 : active raid1 sda1[0] sdb1[1]
62848 blocks [2/2] [UU]
- Install grub on the first disk
grub-install /dev/sda
- Install grub on the second disk
# grub grub> device (hd0) /dev/sdb grub> root (hd0,0) grub> setup (hd0)
Make sure md device stays synchronized
echo repair >/sys/block/md0/md/sync_action echo check >/sys/block/md0/md/sync_action cat /sys/block/md0/md/mismatch_cnt
